with all the advertisments on df im guessing server bandwidth costs are pinching at the wallet.
but instead of £25 a year for vip why not have something like £2.50-£5 a year subs for all members.
im sure the number of people willing to pay that be a lot higher than the current vip members and so more money coming in.
i understand some will not have paypal but if other methods were made avilable etc

anyway as the title says just a thought.

The only catch I can see is that would possibly effectively make the site referral only as I wouldn't pay for a forum if I couldn't see what it was all about.

Maybe another tier below vip, say for £5/10 or something you get to see the dbox section and biggys and use pms or something?

aye ive seen other site which have a tier system 5 tiers and 5th tier giving full access plus other stuff.
they also have with each tier bronze silver gold platnium etc little banners under ur name so others can see ur level of access.

ps. think also opening up the vip rooms for a day or two but making an announcement its happening so people can have a taste of what they are missing might also drive people in to there wallets.

i'm quite aware of that, but i was getting at was nobody replying saying they would be more inclined to dontate if there was a cheaper option.
£25 might not seen alot to some but others it can be quite alot.
