Recommend me some internet security / anti-virus for Vista Laptop

Just got a Sony Vaio laptop at the weekend (Blu-ray drive version ) and have nearly removed all the crap that came with it. looking for some Vista compatible internet security / anti-virus for it (came with Norton 360 trial , but not having that memory hog installed on it) so any recommedations please ?

I would recommend AVG it is good, and also work great on vista.

nod32 is good, and it works on vista, best about it is, you wont event know you have it installed as it doesnt hog resources and does everyhing silently

AVG free edition is good, NOD32 is supposed to be the best but you won't find a decent version on torrents since it needs to be cracked every day. I use norton memory hogger, but what the hell.

nod32 for me. you can find good ones that expand the trial version for years. there was one posted in the d/l section but not sure what crack was like.

After following the advice on another thread about anti-virus i got myself a copy of NOD32 and havn't looked back since. its fantastic.
Think i may have a "spare "copy around,if you need it pm me

I always like to use McAfee. We use it at work and its better than all the other brands i've tried. I've never had a Virus and i'm a bit of a porn whore so its a small miracle i've not got aids or something! I've never liked AVG for some reason. If you donwload the corprate McAfee it should just keep updating without needing a license etc

Avast Pro mate works a treat with vista and very good on system resourses , Nod 32 also very good , if u need avast pm me mate and ill sort it for u

Another vote here for NOD32- best of the best- in all respects. There are some great, erm, "fractured" versions out there too.
