Can anyone help with Azureus

Perhaps a strange question.

My stats show i am both uploading and downaloading, yet the items in my que do nto show downloading and the percantage status does nto change.

Why do the stats (on the bottom right) give figures (changing all the time) but the downloads are not budging.

Both are showing as OK connection wise. When i look at the swarm it just shows me uploading.

Neither of my files have moved on up for two days now. Stuck at 97 and 57%

I have left the PC on for the past two days as well.

eMule is fine, not that it means anything here.

Maybe for both downloads there are no seeders, hence they are stuck? I think it shows some bursts of data goiing up and down, but then the figures shouldn't be big either, less than 1kb.

Yep port forwarding set up. Speeds are low yes and i change the up limit pending on if i have e-mule or any console accessing the net.

It makes sense saying that. They started super fast though and al the action was in that first instance. I had a 4+gb image and three other 700mb pieces on the same night.

Strange this is so slow. Perhaps ones to give up on this time.

Could be a hashing issue. Stop downloads and force a re-check.

Give uTorrent a try. I used to eMule then went onto Azureus which was way better than eMule, now I use uTorrent and its the best i've used. The client is tiny as well which is cool

Yep I always found utorrent the best and it was recommended by most private tracker sites!

I get alot more through my eMule

I use torrents occasionally. Through eMule i can get a 4+gb in an evening. I can do the same through torrents but not as relaible (of course does depend on shares)

I was not looking for an alternative, just saying as eMule was downloading fine, connection good. However, i will check out uTorrent.

I have been rest assured since the post above about low speeds checking back anf fourth.

Things have moved on a bit since last night. My reason for spoting was the first 50/90% was done in minutes, then no move for two days. since then things have moved slightly last night.

Azureus is a strange one aint it. I installed it last weekend on a test machine just for curiosities sake.

I promptly installed Ktorrent afterwards

There are so many different systems and people review them in different ways.

I have yet to try any of these others but will next time i use a torrent file.

i agree utorrent is by far the best! i used to use abc then azureus then was told about utorrent and never looked back, get 750k+ maxed out. also i agree that forcing a recheck might solve it, if i have a dead torrent i usually stop it close the program, restart my router and then reopen the program and hey presto it works again, although thats when i'm sure there are seeders.

Nope not tried any other yet as i am not currently using torrents. I have this booked marked in my torrent section ready for when i next need to. I have already taken Azures of my system. So when i next have a torrent i need to get something.
