burning an iso to a usb

ive got a iso of xp for a usb drive, but how do i load it on to it to boot up my dead pc

whats the iso of? is it an xp install iso or an image of your system that your trying to restore?

hi steveo, i think what you could try in open the iso in a program such as ultra iso and then copy the contents from there onto the usb stick, then the usb stick will be axactly like he cd.

I have tried this before but one thing to remeber is you have set your Bios to boot the pc from USB devices

Also have a look at www.bootdisk.com gives you some bootable files you may need to add.

and as for booting to it

power on PC Press F12 at the Dell splash screen will give the option to boot to HDD, CD, Network or USB.

I swear I had no knowledge of this asteroid but last night i had the most random dream! What I thought was the sun, was coming closer to earth and things were getting a little steamy.. fires etc etc bit of a coincidence?
