Gonna keep a tab on the package tracking, not 100% if RM shows who it was signed by... some courriers do.
Friend of mine drives through london most nights so going to try and get him to go past the address tonight, see what kinda place it it - flats, independant doors, buzzer system etc etc.
No point doing anything till you know its arrived and are a million percent its a scammer.
The money is good as gone, paypal are fuckers, just need to get that ps3 back now.
Just got email response back:
"hi XXXXX,
thanks for getting back to me,sorry mate i dont live in london, person who got into my account must have changed my address details.this is all in the hands of paypal now.
regards XXXXX"
Its not looking too good, paypal are sh1t at these types of thing so i've heard.

If you paid for Special Delivery you are insured by Royal Mail and are compensated for upto £2,500.
Contact royal mail with the tracking number, explain what time it was sent and tell them you have feel victim to fraudulant activity. If you show them you sent the package (with the slip they gave you) they should be able to stop the delivery and return to sender!
Needs to be done ASAP. They would rather do that than compensate you!!
Check here for details -
Remember, the more you kick up a stink, the more likely things happen!Code:http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump2?catId=400028&mediaId=400026
Also, PM me the details of the address you sent it to. I know a few 'heavy hands' near Manor Park (Bouncers) that'll love the excuse to go knocking should all else fail!

Special delivery has compensation so make sure you get in touch with royal mail you never know they coudl stop it .??
I very much doubt RM will do a single thing.
He went into post office, ask for it to be sent, and it was delivered.
At which point are RM at fault?
As for the reply message... Time to get dectective
Royal mail cant do anything, contacted them already, once its been sent theres no way to stop it, i think the compensation only covers delays and damages to the item, not actually covers the item for fraud etc.
So it was delivered Special and got there 9am this morning?
if you dont specify a time its usually before 12.
Normal Spec Del is guaranteed before 1pm,
but is very often a lot earlier, signature is not usually available for a couple of days, just the fact that it has been signed for.
"Friendly fire will not be tolerated"
If you didnt specify a time, the delivery is more than likely going to take place around 1pm.
Surely RM can contact the driver/sorting depot to withdraw the delivery. Especially as it's a fradulent activity.
I know with TNT and CityLink, if you are the original sender they contact the courier and tell them not to post the item. Royal Mail must have someort of similar policy, especially as you are using their 'special' service!
You might get lucky and it dont get signed for (person at work) you maybe able to recall it then if the 'special delivery' hasnt been adhered too. It will return to the sorting office near Manor park and you can call them directly. (Ask RM Customer Service to be put through)
