Just ordered the new 55-250IS Canon lens

I have the same lens bert, its very good, but very heavy and you'll probably need an proper flash to use it indoors as the size of it means the onboard flash isnt high enough.

I got a Sigma EF 500 DG ST so am covered there thanks. I will have one in the next few months. Can pick them up for about 150 on the bay and will probably get 30 odd for the 18-55 that I don't really use much and this will happily replace it.

Bilbo, reading that review they seem to be sitting on the fence a little, although it seems a cracking lens they didnt seem to want to give it too much credit.

How much is this beauty costing you (are you donating a kidney for this)?
