Half of UK men would swap sex for 50 inch TV

LONDON (Reuters) - Nearly half of British men surveyed would give up sex for six months in return for a 50-inch plasma TV, a survey -- perhaps unsurprisingly carried out for a firm selling televisions -- said on Friday.
Electrical retailer Comet surveyed 2,000 Britons, asking them what they would give up for a large television, one of the latest consumer "must-haves".
The firm found 47 percent of men would give up sex for half a year, compared to just over a third of women.
"It seems that size really does matter more for men than women," the firm said.
A quarter of people said they would give up smoking, with roughly the same proportion willing to give up chocolate.

The other thing it doesn't state is what percentage of the sample men were skint and had butt ugly, old overweight wives that gave them fuck all in that department anyway? The survey is proabably a good reflection of how most males minds work.

I know I would swap sex for a 50'' lcd/plasma without a second thought.

Shame im not in that position though as I dont have a sex life to exchange

Panasonic TH50 PZ70 great for the 360, when i first connected it up I played some HD videos on it imax stuff, I was sat pretty close and it made me feel sick just likei n an imax.

The fire is never used, the rabit is a door stop but my Grandad is blind, and Gran is poor sighted so it is too big to be used as a door stop.

Cheers mate, the TV is currently on loan with my Gran and Grandad untill they pop their clogs I have spent more time down there since the TV went in than before its great to watch on the big screen.

I was worried about the pixilation I have seen in shops but set a plasma up at the correct distance it isnt noticable even when useing a standard def source but definatly not when you use a HD source. Size wise it looked huge when I first got it out of the box and stuck it in the room but when it was pushed back in to the corner it fitted in the room without problems doesnt feel to big either.
