360 elite - no picture

my elite is fu(king fu(ked

can't get any picture out of it what so ever, but the sound is still there. tried hdmi (various inputs on tv), vga, component, composite all fecked.

any ideas before i take it back to the shop? thankfully it's less than a year old, but still pretty shit.

i noticed the last couple of days that the picture and colours on Cod4 weren't showing properly, so i guess that an early sign

if you have tried different leads mate then yes its dead, take it back mate.

swapped at lunchtime, but mixed results.....

got a 175W PSU so that's good (hopefully)
now have DC brush fans which are louder than the old nidec ones, so i'll have to turn the tv up when i'm streaming stuff from it.

it also crashed twice whilst running the initial set up, which is a bit worrying, but I'll see how it goes over the next couple of days.

crashed running setup?? They have given you a brand new one not a "shop refurb" ?

well it looks brand new, it had all the stickers to peel off, and all the cables were brand new. i wonder if it was cold - it's probably been in a cold store room for ages. not that it should make a shite of difference.
he took my old in in the back to test it, and then brought a new one out that he said he'd swapped the HDD over.
