Posting this using Safari, I hate to gloat but wow, if I could marry a machine I'd be down on one knee. Safari has a built in spell checker I've just noticed too.........it's all good

Don't forget to program your 'hot corners' in system prefs > Desktop & Screen saver.

I have top right, displays all windows/apps and bottom right is desktop - makes everything so easy.

One thing I noticed with my MacBook CJ - even the inner packing was too perfect to open and disrupt.

I found it difficult to take it out of the box, I didn't want to touch it. Purely from a design aspect the experience has been beyond my expectations. Is it worth the money? Even if I never spend another productive minute using it I'd say yes.

Christ, I think this is the feeling all those tossers in the 'new baby' thread were banging on about.

I expected to be faced with a steeper learning curve but it's far more intuitive than windows. I know it's shallow but it's so pretty too, the dashboard widgets have kept me occupied for hours.

I've installed MS Office 2008 so I can connect to our exchange server, in place of Outlook it has something called Entourage. I've not used it much yet but even MS software seems better on a Mac.

Safari appears to be solid and I love the in-built spell checking feature, so all in all I'm impressed with both the hardware and software.

I watched the Gadget Show last week and they criticised it's lack of connections and voted a Sony Viao ahead of it. Daft cunts haven't got a clue.

    Welcome to the future!
I got a macbook to see what all the fuss is about. It just feels so much better than using windows and the hardware feels smooth(hard to describe) but sturdy.
The more you use it the more you can see that Vista has stolen but cocked up.

A guy in work bought one of these and had it in the office - must say, it is sexy as hell! Couldn't believe how slick it is, only about 1cm thick!

He only bought it because he's minted and wanted a new lappy.....he honestly couldn't understand why I kept staring at it and drooling

    Shooooooo-ryuken!
