    Mmmm. Loving the sheer weight of this beast and the size is good too. Not had much opportunity to use it yet but here are a few test shots from this evening. 3 is a crop of 4.

    Cheers. I hope for a lot more too. I was worried about reporrts by folk on the net saying shit like, my copy was crap, mine was soft on the top edge, etc so I really need to shoot loads at ll apertures to make sure it works right. Hope the weather perks up a bit on the Fylde for the weekend but I may have a wander round Avenham Park depending on the weather to see how they are getting on with it.

    ah, so you decided to risk the sigma, looks like you got a good version with the sharpness of the LCD readout.
    Lovely having a constant 2.8 aperture across the whole zoom range.
