Vista Serial question

I have aquired some vista business serials, cant see anybody selling them on ebay..

as far as i am aware anyone can download vista business and use one of these serials

is it legal? does anyone know?

basicly they are from pcs that wont ever use vista?

i also got 2 vista business serials from brand new pcs that were unpacked out the box and formatted then setup with another op system..

so i put the vista business disc in one of my pcs , set it up and away i went..

when it asked for the serial i used one,,,then the other.....none worked..

i dont know why m8 but they would not register at all..........

I managed to get mine to work 2nd time, im currently on it now

I tried one version of vista business which i downloaded from newsgroups
and it didnt work so i borrowed my friends original and that worked.

Couldnt copy the disk though it had dummy/read sector problems
