hey guys, have been waying up this whole share option thing and decided to jump in with both feet this morning. i have stuck some money in hawk even though i dont quite belive the hype but ill kill my self if it does go back to +100 haha also i have chucked some money RBS's way and my other intrest is 3i. thats a little tip from a friend at cazenove. well not a tip as the dude is as strait as an arrow but he siad that is what there pushing at the minute.

im using hoodless brennan which seems to be strait forward, here to future profits for all of us hopefully, but to be honest im finding it all quite fun at the minute! i basicly have a bit of cash lying about that is doing nothing and slowly im dipping into it on fuck all and if i leave it in the bank long enough it will dissapear so i fought id stick some on this.

been reading al the posts and it seems to be a bit of a mix from seasoned pros to newies like me


expect to see a bit more of me on this section from now on

I've invested in HAWk and in hindsight wish i handn't - JJB, any of the banks, ITV would all have been better investments. But hey, its a marathon and not a sprint. Glad Barclays are back! almost back to what they were a year ago!

Dow Jones up over 220 this evening, could mean a +ve start in the morning, and Barclays, I fucking sold out 2 weeks ago at £2.73, gutted.

There's been talk of it for a while now but this is the bit I found encouraging:

Well you may like to know that it jumped 30% at the mention of Pfizer's interest:

With a takeover, the company beign taken over should always try to maximise shareholder value.

Just curious about how you guys find companies to invest in - most of these i've never heard of in my life (other than the banks of course). Is it just a case of coming across companies while reading various news stories?

Are there any sites out there that list all the companies on the london stock exchange with info of their current share value?
