      Default Help for a uneducated beginner

      Hello All. I've joined here looking for some advice.
      I live in Reigate and my house is about 200 metres away from a digital TV transmitter!
      I bought a freeview box to get a better picture with this situation in mind as my analogue signal from Crystal Palace was terrible!
      So I installed the new box and ran an auto search. It only selects transmissions from Crystal Palace's digital transmitter and gets nothing from Reigate.
      My research shows the Reigate Transmitter is live. PLease can someone explain what is the problem here.
      Obviously the distance to the CP transmitter is substantial and the digital signal is worse than the Analogue signal I get!
      All advice very welcome !

      My advice would be use the Intro section for intros and post your question in the appropriate section where you may get some help.
