    Default Wheel torque settings

I've just bought a new torque wrench to ensure my wheels are correctly tightened. I've no experience with using this but I'm sure it's easy (i hope). What does this mean?

    98.1 - 127 N·m (10 - 12 kg-m, 73 - 93 ft-lb)

Dos this mean the range is between 98.1 to 127 N-m or am I reading it wrong. It's just that this setting doesn't seem very accurate and leaves a lot of scope.

if you still have the 350Z then as far as i can remember, the wheels on that arent the standard ones, so i think you may need to find out the torqe settings for those whells on your car.

most autodata manuals will only give you the sizes for the standard factory wheels

the reading you have are for standard factory wheels, i just saw them on autodata

Yes mate they're not the standard wheels they're Ascari Pentas but I'm sending them back to the dealers because the lacquers all chipped on them. I am putting back on the standard ones. But surely the torque would still be the same wouldn't it?

Do you know the answer mate to the question about the settings?

Thanks mate but does that mean I can set the torque wrench between 90-127 N-m? if so it doesn't seem very specific.
