Yeah have had it running on a machine at work. Seems good but not had a lot of time to play yet.

Not had an invite for Vienna yet though but it is on our technology roadmap.

Server 2008 is great. The Server Core is a smart move.

Thinking of upgrading my home XP laptop to server 2008 as the Vista SP1 crap is supposedly already all integrated into Server 2008. it can be made back to work as a client by putting all the bits back it if you want them.

The ISO I had to test was only just over 2gb too.

I didn't get on with Vista at all, but I'm liking 2008 the more I fiddle with it.

Now I am a big fan of Vista and have been since the early Betas. I have run nothing else at home since the back end of Beta 1. I run XP SP2 on my work lappy but only until the roll-out of Vista in the coming month or so.

dnt you find its a bit unreliable in some areas? and uses up a lot of ram compared to operating systems like xp. it also needs a lot of hdd space to install it to start off with.

I got 4 Gb of RAM and a lot of hard drive so from that angle it doesn't bother me. I agree that its use of hard drive is outrageous and you do have to keep your eye on it. Once it is on and running though I have to say I rebuild it a lot less than I have XP and I like the way it is laid out.
