    Default Tea leaf

As a child I was a prolific thief, sometimes stealing upto £20 a week from my parents to blow on sweets, comics, McDs and penknifes. At school I was known for my extravagant lifestyle and the fact that my Panini album was always complete.

Anyway to my mum and dad, I am truly sorry for stealing from you.

I too was a bit of a Penelope Keith as far as the old comics were concerned, but I used to just buy one and place 2 or 3 inside it......the old trout behind the counter never suspected!

when I was a young lad and purchasing spectrum games, I'd buy a 2.99 or 3.99 game but swap the tag for the 1.99 game, and the fool on the till was none the wiser.

I also used to copy some games on to blank audio tapes and then return the original claiming I already had it and it was bought as a present.

My theiving days were cut short when I was about 3yrs old. I can stil remember now being in a greengrocers with my mum and I stuffed a bag of monkey nuts into my blazer pocket, which were too big so left half the bag hanging out. The woman who worked there said to my mum "I think your boys has taken something there?". My mum was mortified and gave me a proper smack round the legs. I gave it a miss after that.

What's daft is that I don't even like monkey nuts.

My mate next door used to regularly break in to his electricity meter and use brake cable and burn down a lead fishing weight to reseal it again. It was quite ingenious really.

Under a bit of peer pressure I knicked £20 from my mum's purse as I thought she wouldn't miss it. Well she did and my dad took the skin right of my arse. I only spent about £2 and she got the money back.

I remember being so ashamed and I couldn't sit down properly for about a fortnight.

Your mum must surely have noticed £20 going missing from her purse. It was a fortune back then.

At the time my parents had several businesses including a video shop, a beauty salon and a newspaper stand outside a station. Since he probably didn't declare every penny, he always had plenty of cash on him and so did my mother. I once found a wedge of 50's in my mum's purse and took two, I waited 3 weeks until the coast was clear and then bought myself a Psion organiser.

Those were the good ole days, the prosperous, Thatcherite 80's. Every cunt for himself, and I was the poster child.

I bet you bottom teeth they know who took the money. Parents are not dull or stupid and dont own up knowing who took the money until asked.

Ask them and confess your sins.
I’m alive and kicking yeh baby.
