    Default Making it more comfy?

I'm riding my R6 from up near Hull to Le Mans in just over 2 months. taking the ferry overnight and riding the rest of the way the next day.. I can imagine I'm going to be in agony. so apart from filling my tank bags full of clothes and laying on them is there any other options??
was thinking maybe a throttle lock, or changing my bars. not sure what there is but I can imagine it's expensive.

packing the tank bags is probably a good idea and one of the cheapest options, a throtle lock or wrist rest may help too, cant say I envy you the trip though

I'm looking forward to it really.
think we're going Hull > Zeebrugge n guess it'll be a 6 or 7 hour ride the other side.
I have just found out some guys at work are going too, but they're riding to Portsmouth.
Think I'd rather the bulk of the ride was in Europe than having to ride through England.

Put some padded cycling shorts on...!!! They will make a MASSIVE difference and get a camelback type hydration pouch so you do not have to stop for fluid.... Not that you will have more than a 150 mile range i guess....!!!

For what it is worth i used to prefer touring on my fireblade rather that my BMW adventure as the wind on your chest keeping you up helps massively.

really. cool. if we can keep a steady 70-80 the wind will help a lot. it's only really town speeds it gets to me.
my last bike was a Z750 so I like the wind blast

and I get about 130miles out of a tank. guess that might go to 150 if I keep the revs down, but it sounds so nice when it's screaming. lol.

i took the 2008 demo R6 out for a blast the other day (perk of the job - i work at a bike shop!)

it was manic, it sounds like an F1 car when you give it some stick!!

have you seen the stomp gripper pads?
they are nobbly stick on pads that go either side of the tank to help you grip the tank with your legs when on the track, they also lessen the effort needed to hold body position on the bike when riding long distance.

make sure you take a rep-n-air kit incase of punctures
