    Not a bad first attempt.
you will need to reduce or lose the bottom frame taking up too much space for next to nothing, could do with some sort of a back round to reduce the white on there too bright.

Cheers mate. I`m gonna shrink the bottom frame but I think I will keep it.

As for a border of some sort...I would if I could...but I aint got a clue how!!!

I was playing with colours too but they looked a little silly...

Lose the hit counter, soooo 1980's....

I've seen worse first attempts. You really need to add a faded background pic, it's too white and bland at the moment.

Also, not sure why you have BT and Virgin as links, isn't that your competition?

All the above criticisms are valid, mine would be grammatical. most of your bulleted list start "If you", "If your" the Items starting with the "The internet" really need to be taken out of the bulleted format and written into paragraph(s) to make it scan. The first item does not need 'If you think about it" at the start.
"If your computer is terribly slow, dont tear your hair out!" is not a question.
This is all in a bit of a random order because I'm typing it as I spot it so please don't take this or any of my other posts on here as an example, I'm great at editing!!
Once your formatting is sorted (more important at this stage) repost and I will peruse again if you'd like, I'm sure between us we can help you get it looking the tits, it's a great start.
    If at first you don't succeed.....redefine success. . . .

I've seen a lot worse on here but that doesn't make it good. It is your first attempt and it shows and that's the image you want for your business? Doesn't make sense.

If it was a personal page I would say nice one son. But it isn't. It's a medium for you to make money. Pay a professional or at least grab a template.

A good website pays for itself straight away...

    Cool. Criticisms noted.

@Neo: how else can I monitor the traffic to the site? Also the links are fine. Virgin and BT provide the telephone circuit and I deal with all the inhouse stuff that BT/Virgin charge a small fortune for.

@Balggard: The content is to be fully reviewed, probably this weekend...will bump when done.

@ DJad: Dunno...found it on a google image search.

@ Trix and DJad: anyone fancy cleaning this logo up for me then, or designing a new one!! This is a logo of my own creation so thats why its shite!

@Frederick: Ok, so its my first effort. I`m curious however, where do these template things come from?

    @Bert: filthy fecker.

I`m using Frontpage by the way. I did try Dreamweaver but I could get to grips with it quickly. As the site really needs to be online in some shape or another then I stuck with what I was making headway on.

Right m8. Is server php enabled?

    Code:
    <?php

    echo "Hello World";

    ?>
Put that somewhere in your <body></body> tags. See if 'hello world' is outputted to the browser.

Apparently, being the crap ISP Virgin are, there webspace does not support PHP.

So is PHP better then? If so would it be better to convert to PHP? Also can I find a free host for my site that supports PHP?

Well php would have enable you to use joomla which is a content management system. I have only ever used templates for this.

I'm sure someone here knows of html templates.

There is a thread somewhere here stickied for free hosting.

Pete, your webhost will provide traffic stats you can scrutinise from a webserver control panel. No need to display it for all to see with an ugly hitcounter on the main page.

id start again m8. thats hideous.

if you dont know what you are doing, get a basic template from someplace else (eg oswd) and change it to suit your needs.

more importantly as you dont have a great deal of experience writing a site, dont try to be too clever and make what you think a site should be..

youve already got a site with nearly 8 pages, which contains enough info to be put on the back of a postage stamp... i know its still in progress, but you could put the entire site on one page, get rid of the shitty menu system and concentrate on making it look clean and simple. go learn a bit of css to make your life easier.. and dont use frontpage ffs.

get notepad out, you will learn more in the long run.

nice fonts, a decent colour scheme (something subtle and simple using company colours?), a decent logo etc. and get rid of the ugly buttons, plain text links are better than those.

oh.. and have somone proof read your blurbs, cos this:
Hi, and thanks for visiting our website. EZC (Easy-Peasy) has been established to address three key issues effecting home and business users throughout the UK.

These issues are the care of your telephone network, your computing requirements and your home entertainment requirements. Ask yourself these questions:

If you think about it, nearly everyone has a telephone and/or PC and if there is a fault then who do you call?

If you need a new telephone extension fitted for broadband, where do you turn?

If you need a second telephone socket added, what do you do?

If your computer is terribly slow, dont tear your hair out!

The Internet. What a minefield! Be it wired or wireless, do you need help?

Peripherals, upgrades, go faster stripes. Who can install and test those for me?

Thinking of buying a new, custom built PC or Laptop?

Struggling to make your new TV, surround sound, DVD recorder or PVR function correctly?

Give EZC a call today and find out how easy-peasy it is to get any or all the above for very competitive prices, by qualified and professional engineers.

Please spend a little time looking around our website to see what products, services and prices we can provide to you.
sounds like it was written by a 10 year old.

ive read it and i still dunno what the fuck you do.

    good luck m8, hth.

Ok, so its shit. Actually, last night I prep`d myself for Marco`s criticism with 10 cans of Stella...but he never showed

So a template? What is OSWD? I`d be more than happy to try a template if you think it`ll help...

Oh, can someone please assist me in sorting the logo out?

edit: OSWD - found it...I`ll have a squizz....is it easy to download and edit one of these?

templates.. some good, lots shit.. but the sites are in html/css and come with all the stuff required to make em work, so you can just cut out all the shit u dont need and change it slightly to do what you want.

just had a quick browse, and a few of these have potential..

    http://www.oswd.org/design/preview/id/3699/
    http://www.oswd.org/design/preview/id/3695/
    http://www.oswd.org/design/preview/id/3557/
    http://www.oswd.org/design/preview/id/1965/

get ultraedit (not free, but great text editor), download one of these templates, get http://htmlhelp.com/reference/css/properties.html read, and play about with it.

    that is a nice choice..

you can do... but i wouldnt. itll only fuck it up and add shit in everywhere.

all u need do is open the .css file in notepad and play around with the values to alter most things anyway.. then just add content.

Well, frontpage is keen on fucking it up so I think I`ll get notepad out.

I also know that I`m in way over my head so wish me luck. I can see myself getting the stella out again and promptly forgetting everything in an hour or two...

Dont suppose you are good at logo design Marco?
