    Default Arm for LCD monitor

I have a 22" Dell monitor with a VESA mount on the back and I am converting my loft so will have a sloping roof. I would like to mount the monitor on an arm so that I can fold it flush with the roof and be able to pull it out so that it is straight for viewing.

    Is there such a thing?

I have a 26" lg tv on an arm it puls out into any position and spins so you could have the monitor vertical or horizontal so would pull down from the roof and spin and tilt to the correct angle.Unless you sink it in a bit you aint going to get it 100% flush though.

    This is mine....

That looks alright and is the sort of thing I want but sadly -

tilts +-17 degrees where it attaches to the LCD

and I think my roof will be at least 40 degrees.

Just attatch it to the wall horizontaly, then the bend in the arm would make up the degrees. They are quite stiff so it wouldn't be a problem it'd hold my 26" er at an awkward angle so it wouldn't struggle with yours.

Thats assuming you dont need to turn it more than 17 degrees to either side.
