I remember seeing a link to a website on DF some time ago which would tell you if a car is insured by entering the reg plate.
I`ve searched but cant find it...did anyone retain the link perchance?

Good website that, i'll be sure to use it if anyone ever crashes into me! No insurance and i'll be phoning the plod ASAP
Our wench crashed into a bird, breaking her rear light.
We were going to pay to repair it, but have heard nothing since. Our Wench didn't take her Reg, just name and number.
It has been about 3 weeks, do you think she wasn't insured and has done a bunk? Our car has a lot more damage than hers.
Don't want to get in contact with her again because we don't want to go through the insurance and lose her no claims, the day after my Mrs rang the lass and she said she had a sore neck (from a 5 mph bump, yeah right). So we thought she would go through the insurance to try and claim whiplash, but we haven't heard a thing.
Is there a specific amount of time for it to be brought up?

Guy crashed in to the back of me while i was driving my 4x4 fucked his whole front end only took the lens out of my motor, never bothered claiming as the damage to me was so little.
A guy at work crashed into a bloke on the morning after this was first posted.
Checked the guy's details - not insured, result there, save my mate a load of hassle.
Cheers - Coin-Op
