help needed

hello all my 1st post

i have a wii Console that is chipped. the problem is i do not know what chip is in side it so i can not update it

since super mario galaxy came out i have been using WiiBrickBlocker 1.3 to keep the latest updates off my console also i only play pal games.

but lately lots of games dont work using WiiBrickBlocker .so i was wondering what would happen if i updated my console with the latest update .

would it kill my console or not

If you go into the wii settings , top right it will show you the firmware you wii is currently running on , the latest update is 3.2E , i keep my wii upto date with updates and have never had a problem , you could try inserting the wiikey 1.9g update disc , dont worry that you dont know what chip is inside if its not a wiikey the update wont let you run it , if it is a wiikey happydays , update to 1.9g then update your wii firmware ...i never use brickblocker i sometimes use regionfrii 1.2 with some ntsc titles , hope you get it sorted ... mario kart is amazing ...had to pry the kids of the remotes earlier , now i've gotta try n get the mrs off it! lol
