bit of help needed

to cut a long story short i need to go onto a website (i wont name)
and change some details of somone that has been
causing my family a lot of problems.

i have user and pass etc but i wood like to hide myself
as obviously i woodnt want to get caught out.

ive done a search on google for hide my ip but it just comes up
with lots of programs etc and not sure which to buy.

bit of a novice to all this jus wondering what u use to hide yourself and is it easy to do
as i woodnt want my ip logged

Proxy is going to be the obvious answer.

There is a good app called "Hide my IP" that works very well.

You can try sites like anonmizer etc etc - some work better than others - proxify is another - google the names.

Be Carful tho, as depending on the site and whats running on it there are ways of removing the proxy and showing your real IP anyway.

The best way would be a wireless laptop and a quick drive

Or if you really really dont want it being linked back to you - get someone in a far far land to do it for you.

As Spencer has said, proxy is obvious answer.
But it could be traceable.
I don't really want to discuss things on an open forum, but PM me if you want more advice.

get a laptop, spoof your mac address and go use an open network somewhere

Well that's your call mate, I know the forum can be viewed by members only at the moment but you with the amount of people on here you really can't be sure who is signed up and lurking.
