Buzzing...

In the garden today I saw this bee keep landing on the picnic table. So me being what I am, I went indoors and retrieved the vase of flowers I had just bought for the wife and put that on the table, and naturally, the bee took the hint and after a short while came in to land.





Here it is on final approach (yes it has two wings but the nearest is strangely invisible probably due to the speed the wings beat and the angle of view...)

Never even touched it this one.

In fact, looking out the window, it's still buzzing around the garden even now!

Its not a bee actually, as I found out later.

It's a dronefly hoverfly.





Does that make it amy less twattable? lol...
