Stumpy had a leg to spare
You're a duck. You're waddling around the farm and lose a leg in a freak fence accident.
Sure, it's a loss, but you bravely quack on. Until something really worrying happens.

Well, not if you're name's Stumpy – because you have another two legs in reserve...
The 14-month-old drake captured the hearts of millions when he hatched with four legs in February last year. But, despite the rare mutation, he was deemed completely healthy.
Stumpy was just another farmyard freak, part of a global fraternity which includes a two-faced, four-eyed pig born in China, a six-legged cow with two vaginas in Colombia and a 23-toed cat from Wiltshire – all fearlessly reported by Metro.
But that was until last year, when Stumpy was walking around his farm – at the double, obviously – and ripped one of his legs off.
He probably caught it on a fence, although fowl play hasn't been ruled out.
Then, just a few days ago, his third leg turned black and fell off.
Owner Nicky Janaway, 44, said: 'When I got Stumpy out of bed at 6am his leg was still there – but in the afternoon it was gone.'
The bird, from Warrawee Duck Farm, Hampshire, now has only two stumps to show for his adventures.
But, unlike some two-legged chihuahuas in America which need a cart to get about, at least his loss has actually made him more mobile...
