Wireless Printing from Vista 32bit to Vista 64bit

Hi Guys

I have a Dell lappie on Vista Ultimate 32bit that worked fine on my Wireless network when printing to the Dell 924AIO attached to my main PC.

I've upgraded my PC (Intel Q6700, Asus P5E x38, 8800GTS, 4GB Patriot RAM) and i stuck Vista ultimate 64bit on it.

But now my 32bit lappie can't print across the network, cos the vista versions are different and it says 'wrong drivers' now i can't install 32bit drivers on 64bit OS and vice versa.

Does anyone know a solution to this? Ive spoken to Dell who claim its a technical wireless issue and want to charge me nearly $300 for a service contract

I run a network with 32 bit XP on 2 machines and 64 bit vista on another. I can print fine from all machines with the printer connected to the 64bit PC so it does sound like its Dells drivers.
try this:
On the 64 bit Vista PC go to Control Panel >>Hardware & sound>>Printer
Double click the Dell printer so it pops the status box up. Now click on Printer>>properties
Click the Sharing tab
Click the Additional Drivers box
Tick the x86 box and click OK
It should then prompt you to insert a driver disk. Put the disk in and browse to the driver location, or just browse to a location on your hard drive where the driver is(The 32 bit driver that is).
After that is done, delete the printer on the 32 bit PC and try adding a network printer again.
