FA sets England semi-final target
The Football Association has set England coach Fabio Capello the target of reaching at least the semi-finals of 2010 World Cup or Euro 2012.
It also aims to having the National Football Centre (NFC) at Burton up and running in two years' time.
An international performance director to oversee all the national teams below the senior men's side will also be appointed by the FA.
England have not reached the last four of a major tournament since 1996.
Terry Venables' side made the semi-finals of Euro 96, but lost to Germany on penalties. More to follow.
