Problems with playing games on agron chip

I have problems with playing pal games on my pal console,the console starts the game and im able to play but suddenly within the game il get an black screen and it says "disc cannot be read pleas read the wii manuel for more info"
but when the case is off the mario party 8 works test for 2 half hours playing to test
when the case is on games that does work are
Super Mario Galaxy
Wario Ware
Victorious Boxers Challenge
i got a Solderless Argon spi Chip & Wii-clip
all the solder was done for me

You 100% sure that the Wii clip is seated correctly and not getting squashed/moved when you put the console back together? Thats what it sounds like to me.

Also test all the connections between the argon and the Wii clip with a multimeter/continuity tester to ensure there are no dodgy connections.

its in as far as it goes i think it must be geting squashed but than why would most games work ? i dont have a multimeter tester but will send a email to the site that done the work to the chip and clip and ask to see if he done that

Exactly what games dont work? If its just a couple, have you tried re-downloading them or tried them on different media?

mario party 8 just that one and i copy it 3 times now 2 on VERBATIM and 1 on Aone Dl on at 4 x .
but all works when the case is open thats what makes me think its not the media or iso

If there was a problem with any of the connections, none of the games would work but like you say, it's only 1 game you're having problems with.

Yea, sounds like a problem with the actual game, originally I thought you were having problems with all backups.

Might be an iffy download. Can you download another copy from a different source?

just 1 source for the PAl one thats the one i copyed all the ones that has it says it works

Well it doesn't seem to be a problem with the chip, seeing as it works with all other games.

Can you try downloading Mario Party 8 again from scratch? Can you try a different batch of discs?

I'v had a bad batch of Traxdata DL before. 10 out of 25 would not work!

still verbatiom dvd-r and the iso but i used the last dvd from my cake box about 40 in there and i used clone cd i allwayed used imgbrun before .
the case is on the Wii and its got mario party 8 on just need to hope it will last

I'm having the same problems, all my games work perfect with my argon chip and flat cable connected with the case off but as soon as I replace the case the games stop working. Has anyone any advice as to what's causing it?

Have you soldered your chip or was it fitted using a clip? If you soldered your chip where did you position the chip? have you covered the chip insulation tape?

I soldered the chip and positioned it in the same place as shown on the numerous pictures knocking about. I didnt cover it with any sort of insulation tape though so I'll give that a try thanks.
