I agree with a previous poster, that it's worth getting one big piece rather than several piss ant pieces (like I have). I now have a decent sleeve, but it's taken a lot of time and money to cover the one offs.....the piece you're getting reminds me of george Clooney's piece in Dusk Till Dawn. Really nice.

Not hijacking the thread but I have had 2 sessions on revitalizing my backpiece. I originally had 3 large pieces and decided to tie them all together (not the best idea, I was young and not thinking). It is slowly getting there, I'll upload the photo's tonight right from the beginning (8 years) ago so you can see what has been going on. I admit to not planning mine properly so have the discomfort of getting my spine tattooed twice, last nights session has left my back very sore.

Done, I hope this proves to be useful. I don't normally show my back off as it is incomplete and very poorly planned. Re-visiting a tattoo project after 6-8 years is not a good idea unless you want the whole thing re-done. Freak's Back

I am booked in for 4 hours a month until it is done, I want to do more but I get real bad back pain after each session. Frustrating as hell. Have you decided on what you are going to do DB?

I just had another 2 and a half hours which ended prematurely. I was bleeding badly, never happened to me before. I had a full stomach and haven't drunk alcohol in a couple of weeks. Picture to follow once I've cleaned it up...4th July Update

I have had some work done on my right forearm and left shoulder, but would really like to have a big angel right across the back my shoulders.

Had my other tattoos done up at Blackpool, but won't have the time to get back up there for this one cos I recon it'll be a good few hours work - and prb need a few sittings. (Others were done in one sitting each while on stag weekenders)

Anyone know where I can get a decent sized pic so I can take it to a local artist? (I like tha angel Beckham has on his back, so would like to have somehting similar to that.)

Found a few on google, but none that really show any detail.

Not all flash is free and available on the web, some artists charge hundreds of dollars\pounds to purchase it. For example Louis Malloy charges �600 for the line drawing alone of the crucifixation on David Beckham's back. Alternatively buy the t-shirt off his wbesite for �20 and have someone trace it.
