Internet problem

I've got a similar problem as this one

In that I can't access most websites including google and yahoo. DF works fine but the others just never load up. When I'm offline pop-ups open and try to connect to the internet.

I've ran norton antivirus, adaware, spybot and combofix (not that I really understood it) but with no luck. Adaware doesn't find anything apart from recurring cookies that come back once deleted and spybot found virtumond which I erased using f-vmonde. The only other option I can think of is a reformat

Sounds like spyware, run a few more tests, when you go to remove it, make sure you disable system restore as the little critters hide in the restore.

Thanks for the reply I've given it a go and tried running the scans in safe mode and got no joy so I'm going to just reformat and hope it gets the fucker.

if you havent formatted yet, you should give a2 antispyware a spin, its free and i prefer it over adaware now, its one of the best rated antispyware progs about and has better detection rates

Cool thanks for the advice I've just formatted and it's fine now but I'll get the program ready for the next fuck up
