Rover 25 radio code needed

Hi,

I was just wondering if it is possible to extract the radio code of this car? It's got the original unit inside the car but we were given a code 4284 but it doesn't work.

The car is a Y reg and me dad is goin nuts in it without a radio. So don't want to rip the radio out if its not possible with this version unless your local.

Post the serial number. It is usually stamped into the side of the radio. It is usually 14 alpha/numeric characters long.

here is everything on the radio including number stamped to the side. It's a Philips:
Stamped number: RG594F11162359
Model no: 22DC594/60B
RG Part No: XQD101260
FC: 06 01 021162359

If the serial of RG594F11162359 is correct it is not in my dbase.

theres another number just stuck on mate if this is any use:

3111 115 3175.1 ? but I just confirmed and I did write down the correct number.
