Default Need Help - Lost Partition

I have a 400 gig hdd which i DID have partitioned into 2 drives.

I decided i wanted to merge them so use partition magic.

This has failed, ended up reinstallin xp.

I had cleared the 2nd drive of all its data, appart from one thing

I need this back, im runnin a program at the moment called testdisk-6.9.win

But does anyone know of a betta program to do this, i have tried GetDataBack for NTFS but its shit.

Any ideas, boys? I best be able to as its my Firefox Favourites i have lost as i had em backedup into a html doc

    Cheers in advance boy's

I dont think you can get it back, have you tried using restoration.

Restoration can restore files that have been deleted

Know your pain M8, as i Accidentaly put a Ghost image onto a 500 gig drive by mistake and got nothing back.Tried all sorts but nothing could get it back.So i called it a clean start and got on with looking for it all over again.Took 6 years to collect all that shit as well, but hey ho its life.Good luck, as i never found any free progs that would get it back.As its just one HTML you may get lucky,

Just to add, STOP using the drive because the more you use it the less chance of getting the data back.

Also (it goes without saying really), the physical drive you want to recover the data from cannot be in use at the time so you'll need to make it a slave (applies to all recovery progs).
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it
