    Nintendo DS Boulder Dash: Rocks

So most of us remember Boulder Dash, yes? An old skool classic.

But did you know that there is a Boulder Dash game for the DS? I certainly didn't!

It is definetely a cracker, and I've been playing it solidly for days. It has lost its retro feel somewhat (additional features & monsters etc), but I guess that 25 years have passed and things have to move on!

It's pretty good as modern conversions go!

I completed this about a week ago. One thing that's bothering me though - I can't get the scores to show from the netherworld levels - I've completed them all, but the scores won't show up, so I'm unable to fully 100% complete the game and get all the rewards....dammit

From what I've seen in this thread, and elsewhere on the net, this game received a mediocre reaction. I must say I'm surprised, I thought it was a fantastic puzzler.

    Flumperino,

I hate to dig up the past but can you remember how to complete world 4 level 7? It's the level with the skulls and the spiders. The missus has recently picked the game back up and is stuck here. Once again I have searched the net for a guide but it must be the only game that hasn't got one written up by anyone!

    cheers

Blimey mate, I don't remember it has been a while.

Will see if I still have the save file for it though and have a gander if I do.

I do recall a few of those world 4 levels being quite tricky

    Flumperino,

she's eventually finished that level but she said she's struggling elsewhere! To be honest, I am getting tired of getting my shins punted every time she plays the damn game in bed. She becomes so damn animated in her failure!

You should give her a kicking mate, she should have completed it by now if she plays it every night

That's what happens when we let girls play games I suppose

I know. I've told her (from a distance) that she's fucking useless but she keeps challenging me to play it. I wouldn't mind, just to show her up, but it might bite me on the arse!
