Metal Gear Solid Coming to Xbox Live Arcade ?

Just two days before the release of MGS4 comes a rumor that the 10 year old game Metal Gear Solid might be making its way onto Xbox LIVE Arcade. Patrick Steen from ripten says that a "reliable" source has spotted MGS on PartnerNet (the Xbox LIVE test network), so if there source is right you could probably expect MGS to come out within a few months to XBLA.

But right now Konami hasn't come out and said anything, so its only a rumor for now. Maybe this is one of the reasons why Microsoft increased the arcade size limit from 150mb to 350mb not to long ago?

Not really surprised, MGS was release on Windows and MS was the publisher, the publisher usually has more rights than the developer, so if MS want to convert it over to XBOX 360 then they have the right to do so.

350meg would still be a push unless compression methods can squeeze it down a lot. The original was on 2 CDs wasn't it?

Would seem a bit laughable the 360 gets a 10 year old game and the PS3 gets the brand new one though.

Metal Gear Solid is the playstation series
so which ever one is anounced, youl know the difference
