Group tense as meeting looms

Day 11, 23:04 BST
By Catriona Wightman

The housemates were tense this evening as they waited for the meeting Dennis had called.

Dennis had asked the group for a meeting earlier today after noticing that there was a "lack of arguments" in the house, and it was decided that it would be held after dinner.

In the garden, Mohamed told Luke that the "honeymoon period" was over, pointing out that tomorrow the housemates will have to nominate.

Luke joked: "When was the honeymoon period?"

Meanwhile, Sylvia told Jennifer that she felt some members of the group were "intimidated" by the big characters, while Rebecca noted that she was oblivious to what had been happening. "You've got to be careful of who you can trust and who you can't," she added.

Jennifer and Dale also voiced their concerns, with Dale admitting that he was "worried" about the meeting. An anxious Jennifer asked: "There's nothing to worry about, is there?", to which Dale responded that there wasn't, but the situation still wasn't "nice".

At the smoking area, Dennis and Alexandra talked about preparing for the meeting. Alexandra said that she didn't know what to say, arguing that she had already said everything. Dennis pointed out that other housemates talked about her behind her back, but Alexandra said she could live with that. She explained: "I respect people who say it to my face. It's not hard, it's not rocket science either."

Dennis defended the meeting, saying it was necessary because the housemates all had to live together. "Big Brother, Dennis is going to kick it all off!" Alexandra shouted.
