This is a great shot Eddie. It definitely gives you a war time feel. Maybe a touch of grain? images were not so sharp and clean as this one .. but yeah, I like the colouring on this shot.

Heres some more ,had a load of bother with image shack so i created a flikr account ,anyways i tried a few of the different filters/effects and grains to come up with a few more ,problem was the place was packed and trying to watch the foreground and background for people was a nightmare ..

The picture with the flags was a bit blown out simply due to the brightness and the lack of a d4 or d8 grad .Most of the other pictures have lots of people browsing etc .

heres a link to the images to see them bigger

Very nice eddie, as mentioned try to get them lookig a bit grainier as they do look a bit too clean.

I also like the car as well. Reflections look great, but I'd clone or crop out the mountain bikes.

Eddie, those shots are freakin' brilliant mate. I have to say, you really HAVE captured the feel of WW2.

I did notice the bikes after i uploaded them ,the grain is hard to do in the repect of digital grain doesnt look like actual film grain ,i have applied some grain to them without detracting too much .Thanks dpSparhawk ,i actually done the set for my dad who is like the history channel when it comes to the world wars and would have loved to have been there .

    Sweet stuff eddie, really good.
Tough to get the vintage look, but you've had a darn good crack at it.

Part of the problem, especially with the first one, is the blokes are in nice clean, pressed uniforms and don't look like they've just crossed the Channel and been shot at!
Love the background though, with the jerry cans in abundance.
