Anyone got any version of OSX running on their lappy/desktop? If so which version did you use?

I've got an ex-work laptop HP NC6000, it runs the JAS 10.4.8 ISO version of OSX absolutely perfect! Wifi, the full shebang!

I'm also thinking about doing this with my VAIO (having a dual boot system) but where do I find out if my hardware is supported?

    Cheers!

I was using an old version of osx86 and it worked okay - just slow. And the graphics side wouldn't recognize my x1900xtx no matter what I threw at it.

I'm gonna go for this... Dual booting along side XP.

Does this work as well as the new version of Leopard.
I really like Apple's and have got to research them for my new job!

Is it the same as MAC OS X Leopard, just converted to a PC version and will give me the full feel of it?

What I mean is, does it come with all the usual software and run the same way (look and feel)?

Unfortuantely, I'm not loaded and cant afford a new MAC, but would love to Dual boot it on my AMD X2 if it's possible?

if you install of something like leo4all its not a pc version of it, its the full on macos, you can run it on an amd board but its a bit more of a fiddle if you have a gander on the ngs there was an amd version on a few days ago, once youve been running in a couple of weeks and your up to speed with it i'll bett you make the switch full time, some people dont like it but theres always someone lol

I definately wont be able to get a MAC. But I am most definately thinking about using the operating system on my AMD if it's possible. I am struggling to find this for download though.

I foung alsorts of information and am starting to get confused! I'm downloading - Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd at the moment from my usual source, but am quite unsure about what I'm gonna need to do once I've put it on disk. I'm going to safeguard my information on my computer (that I need) then just (hopefully) dual boot it alongside XP...

    Wish me luck! lol.
