    Wanted Software for pc specs

I have recently been offered my mums friends pc for cheap but really want to see if it has the required specs that i want.
I have 2gb of pc3200 memory sitting here doing nothing so i would like to maybe add it to the new pc..

Now i don't want to be buying it and wasting my money...

Is there a software that i can run on the pc and it will tell me what type of memory it takes, and whether there are free slots..
Along with any other spec information too ???

i've used something called CPUz before. it's free and doesn't need to be installed, so you can just run it off a usb stick or similar:
