Ok, so I know that title sounds just awful.
Anyhow, I came home today to find out she had played Mario Kart and Updated my wii
Can I still get it chipped?
Not sure if its a D2C or not yet.
Need my mate to open it up first.

Yes, you can still get it chipped! The new update only stops homebrew, etc working. Backups will still work as long as they havnt been resigned. Only a few import games needed hacking to work on PAL machines, it was mostly obscure jap stuff though....

if she's used teh update on the mariokart disk, its not the update that stops homebrew. I went online with my wii the other day and it didnt prompt me to update at all.

btw, if that link is your sister, she can come shag my wii anytime
