radio codes

I have a rover 416 with a phillips radio in it I think. The s/n is RG594FS2025385 and the model No is 22DC594/60E what would be the first things that i have to do to get the code. I have some software that I paid for from the net which was of little help. I dont have any cables to read the eeprom if that is what you are supposed to do I am a little confused all help is most welcome cheers
