can i suggest that photos are taken so that we have some 'standard' shots to compare

for example x number of photos minimum to include:-

    Before & After
    front full height shot
front torso shot - muscle relaxed
front torso shot - muscle tensed
    side full height shot

    just an idea....

I think me and Freddy had the right idea - one from the front and one from the side, both relaxed. Should be easy to tell the difference with just those to be honest.

I use My Protein's unflavoured whey powder. Mixes well with water, fruit juice, soya milk or a combo of all 3. Tastes of pretty much nothing but does give you smelly breath lol. Superb value for money and great service from them too. You need to keep the protein going in when dieting down as it will help maintain muscle mass.

However DO NOT use this as your sole source of daily protein, you need to use fish, chicken, turkey, egg whites (not yolks) to get it from other sources. You need to keep protein in your system constantly so every 3-4 hours either have a meal or a shake (30gms should do the job).

    Unflavoured whey powder

Have to say will enjoy watching this thread develop.

good luck to all who take part, i had a decent enough six pack years ago when i was really into myself/look, but as ive got older i still work out but not to achieve the look i once had, more of just to look healthy.

Funny reading this as my son currently trying to build himself up more as he got a lads holiday coming up so wants to look his best on the beach.
He luckily always trained three times a week at football and already has a reasonable six pack, but as he's only going on 17 i didnt let him weight train as his body is/was still growing.

i'm a skinny fucker, but could do with toning up a bit. Haven't touched my weights for ages or been to gym in about 5 years!
might just be the bit of motivation i need. i'll try doing some exercise when i get home instead of training with cans of strongbow
