    Default iso burning problem

I have dl'ed a hazard perception dvd and it is in iso format.

When I try to burn it it appears on the disc as vob and ifo and won't play when inserted into the pc. I have to select the files one by one instead of it playing automatically.

I have burned it 3 times with alcohol, imgburn and clonecd.

    How do I burn it?

VOB and IFO? Isn't that what is used in DVD films?! Try popping the disc into a DVD player and see what happens.

Make sure the vob files are inside a VIDEO_TS folder or they wont work.

Reburn the VOB and IFO files into the VIDEO_TS directory of youur DVD. Not sure which application to use but if you creat 2 directories VIDEO_TS, and AUDIO_TS (This will be empty) and burn the lot to DVD it should work I think

But it is an iso file, why does it not stay as an iso when it is burned?

An ISO file is simply a disc image, if it stayed as an ISO when you burnt it then you wouldn't be able to play it.

As the others have said, VOB & IFO files are what you find on a movie DVD so maybe it's meant to be used on your DVD player.

mount the disc with daemon-tools, or alcohol.

then use something like media player classic, or power dvd to view it.
