I've spent so long over the years telling myself (amd everyone else) that i was going to lose weight. It took a change of living circumstances, but this time it's actually happening
Any idea what sort of timescale i'm going to be looking at to achieve this in? I know the first part should shift more easily, and it will get progressively harder to shift as i move towards my target weight.
I remember hearing somewhere that healthy weight loss is about 2lb a week, or am i way off?

2lbs a week is 7 weeks per stone i would think that is good as long as it was consistent in that direction not 2lbs one week none the next etc.

Weighed myself this morning and now down to 20st on the nose
Still only managed 2 days at the pool last week, but my diet's been much healthier
I've also managed to improve what i'm doing in the pool
I'll increase the number of time is go this week though - must do it at least 3 times
Really pleased with how things are going at the moment

Bad week last week
Only managed to go swimming once and my food intake wasn't what you could conceivably call healthy this weekend, so unsurprisingly, i've gone back up to 20st 2lb, but rather than getting pissed off i'm going to use it as motiviation and do better this week
I'll be shocked if this is the only blip i have while i'm doing this, but as long as i don't let it phaze me, i'll be fine

That's the only attitude to have because everybody has good and bad weeks, it's the overall picture that's important.
Another bad week (work's shite at the moment) followed by a weekend of hedonism, plus i didn't make it to the pool last week, so i was dreading weighing myself this morning
Good news is i'm back down to 20st, so i guess the improved eating during the week is enough to keep my weight down for the moment
