    Info WTaylors Progress Journal

    Ok here goes this was me 2 days ago....

    Weight 13st exactly
    start date 7/6/08 ( I will be having 1 day off on the 13th as I am at a Christening and no getting out off beffet food and beer)




    My routine last 3 days, aim is for 5 times a week

    6am 25min run down the canal with the dog

    8am cuppa and a bowl of fruit clusters

    12.30 pm small ham or chicken butty on wholemeal and a banana

    5pm 35 min run on the back parks with the dog

    6pm healthy/light tea

    Been drinking as much water as possible through the day to flush me out ( wish my office was closer to the bogs) cut out 99% snacks and all alcohol through the week

    I am shattered but strangely feeling a lot better in myself for the exercise, and my legs are aching! I am going to get some protein mix for inbetween training. Just need something to kill the hunger pangs

    I feel that's too long between your run and your brekkie. You need to be eating within 30mins of exercise. Try going for porridge and some chopped up fruit (still in a bowl) as it will give you a nice combination of quick burn (the fruit) and slow burn (the porridge) carbs which will keep hunger at bay for the next 3-4hours.

    Water will quell hunger too. Chicken is good for lunch but maybe have it with some rice or potatoes rather than bread as this will be a good hit of carbs (for energy) but will ease stomach bloating.

    Tell u what this diet and exercise mall-arky is hard work, its currently pissing down so dunno if I will make the run later so need to find something else to do as I will feel guilty....Waiting till Friday to weigh myself, or is that too soon?

    Or often enough as well. You need to be eating every 3-4hours (4hours being the absolute outside) to maintain a steady metabolism.

    You need 6 meals a day each having about 30-40g of protein.

    No junk, no booze, no crisps etc.

    Stick to stuff like eggs on toast for breakie perhaps with low fat bacon. Chicken, salmon, tuna, cottage cheese, quorn and such for you other meals.

    Or bernie matthews do turkey rashers, which are much much better than the weight watchers shite, IMO.

    Or get down the butchers and get yourself a nice lean piece of fillet steak, packed with protein, creatine and more. Should help keep you sane.

    Some of the cheaper whey has stuff in it that makes you fart all the time (and they stink) such as the H&Barrett one.

    I tend to find when i'm on a protein drive I drop anything between 12" and 14" as standard, although only once daily.
