Hi Guys
My brothers birds son has asked me about boxes, so what id like to know is does this box do the same as a dbox, or is this ONLY for freeveiw.

oh and if neither are any good guys out of all the boxes whats the best one out of all of them, theres loads, the box, eurovox, dbox2, kryptview, which one is best to get, not really fused about hard drive but would be nice

ive had the eurovox for a few years, its purley a get all the channels thing, no fancy bollox change the look of this and that.
worked faultless in all the time ive had it.

The Starview3 is a nice bit of kit.Scan the channels and it auto sorts them in same channel order as V*rg*n,sorts them into favourites,and the even have the same channel numbers

get a euro vox there piss easy to patch if ya get em anthing complicated u will be fukkin harrished!

there are 2 eurovox boxes ive seen, one can have a hard drive slotted into the front and the other cant, are they both the same as in easy to flash and use???

new eurovoxs take a ide laptop hdd and can record

get 1 them

and they very easy to flash

The star view 3 is a very easy box to use easy to set up easy to flash if needed. as already said it sorts all channels out for you and for �75 delivered well worth its money ......morphias

Bear in mind that the PVR one will only record what you watch.

There is only one tuner inside AFAIK.

So for some people, that may be money that you could do without worrying about.

That said if the interface is already there, you can just get the box for now and worry about the hdd at a later stage.

seein as the box is for another person and not you make it as simple as possible for them cos your the one who is going to be getting asked how to do this or that when they get it! the more options you give them the more work it may end up being for you!
