Default Can anyone recommend DVD ripping software

    Hi

Can anyone recommend some decent DVD ripping software that will convert the dvd to an iso file and keep all the extras menus etc with minimal loss in quality.
    And remove the protection.
Want to run these iso files on my media player.

    Thanks

DVD Decrypter will do what you want, DVD Shrink will do just what it's title suggests so it won't be of any use to you.

DVD Decrypter was discontinued some time ago, but there are still quite a few sites that host it.

    DVD Fab Decrypter.

I used it at the weekend and it is very good, you can even chop off the FBI shit at the begining and keep the rest.

You cud use any of the follwing:

    PowerISO
    MagicISO
    UltraISO

These make no changes to the dvd image and give you an exact copy.

Just go to Tools and click on the 'Make ISO button'...sorted

Remeber to put you DVD in the drive tho....

DVD shrink will keep all the menu's and stuff and rip it to an iso. It will also remove any protection from it and make it region free. It also allows you to remove any unwanted bits - foreign languages/directors comments and stuff like that.
The downside is that it isn't supported anymore and it won't touch certain disks - Sony reds for example. For those, I'd use DVD fab.
