    Default eggon's Journal

    Well Ive been wanting to do a six week type challenge since we started this whole thing. Ive been away to Barcelona for a few days and thought it would be best to start once i got back.

    My goal is to bulk up a little and become more defined. I also want to be eating healthier and become fitter. Therefore I plan to eat more, do weights and also do some Cardio Vascular work.

    So my Training plan started today 28/07

    heres what I did -

    Monday 28/07/2008

    6.00am

    Cup of Tea
    Protein Shake with 80 grams of oat's and a blob of honey
    Two slices of toast and Peanut butter

    8.00am

    3 Boiled eggs

    9.00am

    Banana

    10.30am

    Gym - will show what i did below

    13.00

    Taken from Mens Health - Veggie Meal

    Quinoa 150 grams
    Tofu 100 grams
    Tomato - 1, Diced
    Yellow Pepper - 1 , Diced
    Hand ful of flat leaf parsley
    2 Spring onions
    Boiled egg
    Pumpkin seeds handful

    Tracker bar (was in my drawer at work)

    18.00
    Protein Shake

    19.00
    350grams Lean Fillet Steak
    Salad
    Mixed Veg
    Meal taken from Gantys one week meeting plan

    Breakfast this morning was pretty difficult, took me a while to get it all down me. First time i had peanut butter and it was horrid!! so I am going to have to change my plan on the breakfast for tomorrow.


    What i did in the gym -

    Arms
    Barbell Bicep curl
    1 set - 15 reps - 20kg

    Tricep Push Down
    1 set - 15 reps - 9kg

    Chest
    Barbell Flat bench press
    1 set - 12 reps - 20kg

    Pec Deck Machine Fly
    1 set - 15 reps - 50kg

    Shoulders
    Machine shoulder press
    1 set - 15 reps -30kg

    Cable upright row
    1 set - 15 reps - 8kg

    Pec machine thingy
    Basically its a machine to work on your pecs - you stand up on the machine and lift your knees to your chest - 20 of those and then swing your legs to your chest 20 of those. if anyone knows what this machine is called then let me know

    Back
    Lat Pulldown
    1 set - 15 reps -8 kg

    Machine Pullover
    1 set - 15 reps -90kg

    Legs
    Legs Press
    1 set - 15 reps -200kg

    Leg Curl
    1 set - 15 reps -62.5kg

    So basically Ive worked on most parts of my body. I'm not sure if this is the best thing to do, but I've not done any weights work for a few months so thought this would have been best
