Software for a media library

Hi guys,

I have 3 HDD's full of movies all in folders etc named correctly, i want a prog that will connect to IMDB get all the info etc for movies and basically make a nice little front end maybe or create a dbase for me.

The only reason is for my mum, so she can get IMDB score etc for the movies before she watches them

any ideas.....

Hmmmmmm dunno about PC but XBMC is great at this on the old Xbox. It will download all the covers and the blurb. I just stuck a massive hard drive in an old Xbox and filled it full of movies and jobs a goodun'.

Ill explain more, the main reason i want this is for my mum, doesnt have to send to extenders etc just for her pc.

She has a machine upstairs and a ps3 in the front room which gets HD VOBS via Tversity, i just want a prog which will reference her extrenal HDD (which i fill with films) and make a nice little dbase for her to check what she wants to watch etc.
