loud 360

Hi all, my kids 360 is making a very loud noise from the fans; I�ve uploaded a vid to YouTube.

I rang m$ and they said it was normal until I put the phone next to console and turned it on, they also said there was nothing they could do until I said if it sets on fire they will be held responsible for it and that I recorded the phone call. To that they told me to send it in for repair. I then asked to speak to supervisor who said that it�s just the fans cooling down the console when there is a disc in the drive. To that I added there is no disc in the drive, there was a moment of silence, oh dear he says, send it for repair. I told him I was dissatisfied sending it for repair as it came back last time with a fault where I had to keep turning it on and off to get a picture, oh he says. I also explained that I have got 5 console and that all of them have been repaired more than once and the console in question has been repaired in the last 2 months, he said there is nothing they could do to prevent the problem, I shouted product recall, he then blah blah blah, about the millions of consoles blah blah. He said he would change my console for a brand new one with an hdmi port. Not bad I thought, I wonder what else I could get from them. " so you think by giving me a new console with hdmi port will keep me happy until it ring of deaths, don't think so" ok sir I can throw in a game. ok now he got my attention "what game would that be, I don't want to end up with a game that I already have" perfect dark zero sir "I tell you what mate you keep your worse game of all time to your self, I will accept the new console with the hdmi port" ok sir I will now pass you back to the person you phoned.

So hopefully a new console with hdmi port.

You maybe could have got a wireless headset instead of the game and then gave it to me

Good work on getting a HDMi unit mate, but TBH I think they should have recalled all 360's when RRoD became a major problem.

However that obviously would have cost more than the $1 billion they put aside for the 3 year warranties, otherwise they would have done the recall.
