    Question Virtual Desktop

My laptop spec is Core 2 Duo 1.6Ghz, 2Gb Ram, 80GB HDD & ATI X1300 Graphics running XP Home.

I am looking for an application (Preferably for free as I'm a tight arse) that will allow me to run a virtual version of Windows 98 so I can play some old games that won't run on XP.

Does anyone know of an application that will do this / have any experience of using an application etc.

    Thanks in adavnce.

Have you tried creating an icon/shortcut for the game on the desktop and right clicking on it.. properties and setting it to win 98 compatibility? you can also set screen res etc. here as well.

MS Virtual Machine 2004 & 2007 or VMWare Server are both free if you have a copy of Windows 98 hanging around.

I was searching for MS Virtual machine as a torrent and I came across VMWare Workstation 6. Gona give this a try to see if it works ok.

    Thanks for your help.
