Help to work out time spent on internet

A mate of mine is trying to sack a drifter from his employment.

He thinks that the guy is spending excessive time on the web, and is sure he has seen in the past a way of telling how long someone has spent on a perticular site. He is also sure it was done at the "suspects" pc.

Does any one know how this can be done WITHOUT installing another app in windows.

I know it can be done using 3rd party apps and from a proxy server but that is a bit out of his league.

Fortunately i do all of the investigations at our place.....

without setting up a program on his pc or setting up a proxy server/firewall there will be no way of loggin web traffic unless it is supported by your current internet router/firewall.

don't think you'll have much luck. you'll prob have to setup a simple freebie proxy proxy server on your machine and then get the remote computer to direct all it's traffic via yours pc...
